Mike Gaisbacher has been an active part of the acoustic music scene since he began studying at Berklee College of Music in 2013. During his studies in Boston, he was immersed in the diverse musical communities in New England. A graduate of Berklee, Mike calls Nashville his home and continues to be engaged in the bluegrass, old-time and new acoustic roots music scenes locally and nationally. Mike performs with the Claire Lynch Band and the Jim Hurst Trio.
Since 2015 Mike has been rehairing and repairing bows for all stringed instruments. In 2022 he started making bass bows and works out of his home shop in East Nashville TN. For more information and to see recently completed bows click here.
